using columns of lamps as they did in the 1960s before Nixies were developed. Expensive little buggers, they were. Experimenters rejoiced with the advent of
7-segment LEDs, not having to have expensive readout tubes, troublesome drivers and high voltage power supplies!

me, taken probably in 2000 -- a school picture -- although I got mine free since I&#39;m the teacher.

I really would be nice to see this board take off again.  It has always offered a friendly place, especially for newbies, to post questions without getting
